  2. try the food forum for more responds. But yes I cook stews and fish in my dutch oven along with beans some times.

  3. I love Dutch Oven cooking when I go camping.

For breakfast I like to take the leftovers fromt he previous night (usually some sort of meat and potatos) mix them up with some eggs and make a cassarole out of it.

For a killer dessert now that fresh blueberries are in season try this blueberry crumble:

3 pints fresh blueberries, cleaned and stems removed.
    1/2 lb butter (2 sticks)
1 cup plus 2 TBLS sugar
2 cups plus 2 TBLS self raising flour
    1/2 tsp cinamon

Put the blueberries in the dutch oven, stir in the 2 TBLS Sugar and 2 TBLS flour.

Cream the sugar and butter together, once you have a smooth mixture add in the flour and cinamon. Mix until you have a dry crumbly topping. If it looks like dough add some more flour and keep mixing.

Dump the topping on top of the blueberries, sprinkle some more cinamon on top. Bake over medium-low heat for 45 mins. (if you do it in a real oven that's 350 degrees for 45 mins.)
  4. Ummm, if you mean like when you curl up with your hot woman in a sleeping bag on a camping trip and let the "gas pass", yeah that's my "dutch oven." :smoking: :smoking:

'Course the woman gets a bit pizzed off :steamed:
