Homemade Chocolate Salty Balls

Discussion in 'Food Forum' started by whiskey_moodz, Jan 27, 2004.

  1. 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    ¼ cup corn syrup
    3 tablespoons confectioner’s sugar
    1 cup milk chocolate chip

In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs
and corn syrup and mix well. Using a spoon or a melon baller, shape the mixture into balls.

In the top of a double boiler, slowly melt the chocolate chip. Dip the balls in the chocolate and set the dipped balls on wax paper to set

On a plate, mix together the salt and sugar. When the chocolate balls are set, roll in the salt and sugar and the mixture to lightly coat….

Reminds me of that SNL skit with (punkass) Alec Baldwin who played Pete Schweddy, owner of Schweddy Balls :)

That's a good one. Nice avatar BTW, LOL ;a

Haven't you seen South Park? There is a black character named Chef that sings about his chocolate salty balls(actually sung by Isaac Hayes) :)

I put the song on my webspace, I'll leave it there a couple of days. Right click and choose "save target" to download the song:
