I take it that the $60 box of 9mm bullets wasn't for 1k bullets. In my experience with gun shows, there might be some deals there but you really have to search for them.

It's almost the end of the world, (again) so sellers are trying to make a buck or two........

It's always buyer beware, why are you surprised? I go to gun auctions about 4x a year & see people paying more for a used gun than a new one at the local over priced GS. You have to knwo what is a good price, avg price & great price, for anything.:dunno:

I just went into a local gun shop where they had CCI large pistol and large rifle primers for $43 / 1,000.

Find the guy and his friends and have them send me a PM, I'll hook them up.

I haven't found any good deals at gun shows in a couple years.
I still go when I am bored. Think last time I bought reloading stuff at a gun show was about the time of the first O bummer win, ammo rush.

From the gun shows I wen to you have a hard time finding deals. Deals being paying retail.:whistling: Lots of junk too with ammo in baggies. I don't go to them often because they don't seem to ever have what I want at them and I know of this place called the internet.

When you add it the price of admission and your gas - what was the price of the SMK?

Buy at LGS or on line usually less expensive then any gun show.

I used to go often then I added it up: $5 parking + $8-10 to get in + gas = shipping of my powder and primers.

Here's a tip - at Sportsmans warehouse - you don't hve to pay them to get in - no matter what the bum in the parking lot tells you.

It's been awhile since I've been to a gunshow around here but it seems everytime I go there are fewer tables with gun related items and more and more toys, lamps and knick-knack type crap.

Not to mention standing in line to get in! I am too old to stand in line for anything anymore, certainly not 2hr for a crappy gun show.
