It isn't just magazines and ammunition. I was doing a search for night sights to post as a link, most for Glock's were out of stock or backordered. SJ 40

Hoghunter82...agreed. To a point. The fact that so much hoarding is going on and looks to continue brings up other issues that ammo manufacturers may not have anticipated far enough in advance and are now short on base components. Brass suppliers may need several month lead time. Same with lead and bullet making. The run this time may have caught many base product suppliers off guard putting the actual product manufacturers in a real bind. I noticed that Midway now has shut down just about all back orders on ammo and many other items they normaly would just back order. This huge well run company that has always done their best to keep the customer informed on aprox Ship dates is backing away from the table for a breather. Curious.

Some slight relief. Just for the heck of it I checked Freedom Munitions (http://www.freedommunitions.com/) and they manufacture re-loads and new ammo. They have some of the calibers I checked in stock. And YES! they have 9mm in both new and reload.

I think they were out of .38 but it might've been just one or the other (reload or new) so you might check if interested.

I'd bet that Hillary gets elected in 2016 and re-elected in 2020.

I'm watching sgammo daily and their inventory levels are sinking fast. I have not seen any replenishment of anything yet. They are literally down to 2-4 selections of 1000 round cases of JHPs for most calibers, completely out in others.

DITTO! I've been doing that over the last 2 - 3 years. I've got plenty of everything. I also got some extra magazines. Sooooo glad I did.

I like the idea. I have thought for a long time that people with guns didn't keep enough ammo.

As long as they are going to a good home, this is a good thing.

People are prepping as if there is going to be a revolution, so hopefully there will not be a need for one.

BTW, Let me know when you go to the store and can't buy fertilizer and diesel fuel.

I have a Glock 17 and four loaded magazines. I have 600 loaded rounds sitting in ammo boxes. I am ready for most anything here in VT.

Exactly, but how many people here on GT (Gun people, shooter) don't have enough for one trip to the range or one hunting trip?

It is great having the best xyz gun, but if you don't have ammo to feed it......it is as good as a stick or maybe a rock.

  14. I watched SGAmmo post 50 cases of Win 165gr .40 FMJ and it was gone in a day and a half. They have zero .40, zero .45, zero 12 ga shotgun rounds.

Yep. It's awful. LGS shop crazy busy and none of the customers had a clue. Primers being rationed to 100 a customer. The other LGS, phone was ringing and ringing and ringing...the same question over and over and over again "what do you have in stock and would you please hold it for me"

I watch sgammo closely. They've actually posted 50 cases of that Win 165gr at least three times over the last week. In each case gone within the day. I mentioned in another thread they sold out of 200 1000 cases of 9mm in about three hours.

I think this morning they had relisted 5-6 9mm selections (mostly JHPs) but they're all gone already.

I just ordered a case of 9mm aguila 124gr. From sgammo. I did it yesterday and they were showing around 100 in stock. I'm sure it's gone already.

It's gone and it was $279. Exact same ammo a few weeks ago on their website was $197. Didn't realize Mexican production costs went up over the last few weeks???? I hate to think even crap ammo is gonna run $279 per 1000 going forward.
