I just got a S&W 629 Classic w/6" barrel and a Tasco Accudot (older)w/30mm tube for hog hunting. It's a sort of lower profile Aimpoint type optic and is not long like a scope that continues past the hammer toward the shooter.

What are some good holster options for such a set-up? I don't need it to be expensive and plan to load after being in the stand. I just want my hands to be free for climbing and helping another hunter.

    Thanks!

I use an Uncle Mikes Sidekick Bandolier Holster.
