What holster would you use if you wanted to carry if you want to carry a small pistol on your hip? Like a XDS or a Kahr or LC9.
I use a M-TAC for my G27 but was thinking about a little smaller or thinner gun for carry. I was think about a holster with only one belt clip.
    What are your thoughts?
    thanks again

If you want an ultra thin, single clip kydex holster, FIST is king.

I have a K8 for my G26. But for bigger guns, hybrids like the MTac seems quite a bit more comfortable.

OWB with a single belt clip tend to flop, even with a small gun.

Most people argue that carrying a small gun OWB is silly, but I disagree. I carry a gun OWB at work and when of duty OWB is my first reaction. I sometimes carry a jframe OWB because that is my first reaction to reach on my hip.

I really like the Don Hume OWB holsters. I have a H721 thumbreak for every handgun I own. They are a great compromise between price and durability. I have been using Don Hume for close to 10yrs, my P239 holster has the most use, 4 days a week, for 7+ years and still holding up well.

If you like the IWB holsters like the M-TAC. Crossbreed makes the MicroClip and the Miniclip for smaller guns. It spreads out like the supertuck but only one clip. That should be similar to what you already have. I have the Supertuck and use it all the time for Hip carry.

This is how I carry my DB9 IWB. But if you wanted something closer to the MTAC, Shielded Holsters has the Mini Phalanx which is a hybrid holster meant for the smaller guns.

I carry my CM9 in a N82 Tactical. Most comfortable IWB that I have worn.

Another FIST fan here. That thin kydex is hard to beat for a small auto. I have about 10 FIST holsters and my G-26 rides in a #1AK daily. Small, light, easy on easy off. I would stick to the THIN and NOT Ultra Thin. I have cracked a few.
