Pang police and military lang ba talaga?
Nope. Most of the police and especially our military personnel here in the Phils. use fmj's because that's their issued ammo.
Just make sure your pistol will like it before using it as defensive rounds.
Police Departments issue hollow points to prevent over penetration during gunfights. More often than always, we confront one BG at a time.
The idea is to kill more than one enemy with one bullet hence military ball.
mga sir di po ba sya bawal satin sa pinas may mga nagsasabi kasi na its not allowed daw for non armed personnel .
Ideal kase hollow point coz nag ma mush room yung dulo when it hits something prevents over penetration (sabi nga ni Sir JT)di tatagos ng dinding and less chance of ricochet(banda)
pag nag mushroom effective and stopping power , bulagta(bagsak) agad tatamaan.
pwede rin cgro sa civilian kasi binebentahan naman e
let say, BG nasa luob ng kotse, tatagos ba ang JHP sa windshield o sa pintuan ng kotse?
tagos kung point blank , but the trajectory might be affected.
ok tnx sa reply sirs helps a lot.
help po from the experts tnx in advance sirs
hahn lang yata nakita kong may local HP , kaso manipis yung brass di na pwede ipa reload. Try stronghand also may HP din sila.
Get imported the silver tip (Winchesters, Corbons).di naman maluluma yun.
look for PMC starfire JHP, very good reviews for the price, cost around 25-29 bukos a pop, im carrying their PMC el dorado line in .40, expanded to 0.89, http://stevespages.com/page8f40sw.html,
in my .45s, its corbon powerball or golden sabers for me.
sa stronghand sila ang nagreload using imported brass and hornady xtp heads so parang imported na rin pero mas mura. imho buy at least 15 rounds na imported hallow point para puno yung isang mag. i use the remington golden saber as carry load for my glock 17.
has anyone used the tactical edge brand jhp ammo by twin pines? price is reasonable. box says they use hornady bullets. ok na kaya to for home defense? wala akong makita na federal or pmc sa mcs kanina e.
pmc, meron sa trust trade, i was there kanina
mga sir .40 caliber na hollow point hindi ma dumihin sa barrel ng glock, kasi ako pinaka-iiwasan ko residue sa barrel ko.
hi sir! wala kasing stock ng 9mm na pmc both in mcs and gale. puro 40 at 45 cal lang. would you know of any other dealer that stocks the pmc? thanks.
Sa PB dionisio... May Winchester Ranger (imported) pa ata for 45cal, 40cal n 9mm... Mga P60 ata each. I wouldnt mind spending a bit on my self defense ammo. Besides, i think its better to use brand new ammo than reload for self defense. Just try at least 50 rounds of your intended ammo para sure na wala problema sa baril mo. After doing so, i dont think you'd be changing your carry ammo too often.
