Hogue grip panels

    Stumbled across these a few days ago, not too expensive.
    I guess they are rosewood laminate, surprised how good they look against the matte finish.

    I was going to leave the stock rubber on it since it gets carried frequently, but these'll work ok.

    That's pretty much it, too. Unless there's big recoil, I want wood stocks.

    Nice wood grips just look so right on a 1911.

    Thanks guys, I wanted to check my tastes against everyone else's.....I sometimes go weird on grips.

    looks good, now I have to go and change to wood the grips in my Kimber, have a set like that but in darker wood.
     
  6. Hogue makes some top notch grips. I like their revolver grips as well.

    Me too, I have a couple K frames done up with wood hogues. And another auto pistol besides the Kimber. They may not have an exotic name, but they put out nice stuff.
