I've got access to 50 privately owned acres in the Apalachicola National Forest. I know there's hogs in the area, but don't know how many and in what parts. The property is down in Sopchoppy. Just wondering if anyone familiar with the area knows how the hogs are down there. I've got a bag of corn left from deer season and am thinking about going out there to scout the area and setting up a basic feeder. I don't know if I'll be able to make it until next season without something.

ETA: If someone wants to help get me started with hog hunting I'll see about getting them permission to use the property whenever I'm out there.

Private land in a national forest? I thought the whole purpose of the national forest designation is for public use/enjoyment??? Now you may mean you have access to private property that backs to a national forest.
