I bought a box of federal hydrashock ammo from a buddy of mine, who's ex took all his guns. I was reading the box, and it says it is only supposed to be sold to LEO. If I were to use this ammo to defend myself, would I get in big trouble over it saying that on the box?

Hydra-Shok has always been sold to the public; did you get hold of some +P+ perhaps?

"Police only" manufacturer policies have no power of law. I've never heard of this coming up as an issue in court, though of course it could. If it did, my response would be simply, "I felt that if the police had determined it was the best ammunition for THEM to use to protect people like me and my family, it was obviously the best ammunition for ME to use to protect myself and my family."

    best,
    Mas
