Hi Power Porn

  1. Didn't know they made the plainfield carbine in anything but .30 carbine, this thing got a story? I dig it! Be better with some mec-gar 15 rounds, or the hi-cap mags (if they actually work. Never used one, just seen em at gun shows. Everytime I ask the vendors if they work, they give me this :dunno: look).

I use the MecGar 20 rounders in it, the 10 rounder is attached to the board to use a a stand. Supposedly Iver Johnson made about 150 of these in the mid eighties. The MecGars work fine, there are some 30 rounders (ProMag) that are highly questionable

I picked up this unfired beauty last month. It was built in 1960.

There's a sad story behind this one, but it rose from the ashes to be a great firearm once again.

Nice work Gun Smoke. I'm really feeling my collection is lacking a Hi Power at this point. Hopefully someone will bring one to our upcoming range day and seal the deal for me.

If you talk real nice, Bac can probably be influenced. I'm pretty sure he has at least one. :whistling:

One of my favorite pistols the Hi Power. Awesome design.

This is my FN T model from '67. Came to me as a very complete package, box, tools, and German manual, apparently unfired. I can't find a mark on it. Lucky find!
