Help with squeaky laptop keys?

Hey all I recently bought a brand new hp Pavilion laptop and after maybe a couple weeks of use the keys are getting squeaky.

Its like a plastic on plastic kind of squeaky and its starting to bug me.

If I just leave it alone do you think it will get better or worse? Also would it be safe to maybe somehow put WD40 on it? If so how would I best apply it?

    Thanks,

    Nathan
