A friend passed away and I'm in the process of helping his widow place ballpark selling figures on his gun collection.

Below are the few that I have no clue on....any help is appreciated. All appear 95% or better.

S&W model 60 3-inch full-lug adj. sights (stainless no lock)
    S&W 1076 and 1006 (10mm) both look brand new
Astra A70 (stainless or matte nickel, not sure) and A100 (blued)
    Star Firestar 45 ACP (blued)

    Thanks!

  2. Check GunBroker or other auction sites for completed transactions for these. Print those sales most representative of the items at hand for future reference. Adjust the sale prices up or down a bit to reflect differences (box vs no box etc).

I would take a wild guess at ~500 for the Model 60, maybe a bit more as the three inch versions seem less common as do the adjustable sights. And I would guess that the two 10MM pistols would be around 1000 each or perhaps more. At least around here 10MM S&W pistols seem to be marked at twice the other calibers. Dealers of course offer appreciably less than what they sell for.

I passed on a model 60 last week at LGS. It was about 85% in SS. $350.

That 3" Model 60 is a rather desirable gun, I'd be somewhere north of $500 with the value. You may need to list where you garner a wide array of potential buyers, Armslist is O.K. for free, Gunbroker works too.

    Thanks all.
I've used Gunbroker and had pretty good results.
I told the lady that NOW is the time to sell so I should be receving them soon.

Will post pics of the collection when they are delivered to me.

My friend (Mike) would have been happy knowing they are going to good homes.
