    Good morning BOGs

    There's this guy who's swapping me his fairly new Sig P226 non railed(owner claimed 500-600 rounds fired but the pistol looks about a good 1.5k-2k rounds to me) to my Pristine/Immaculate condition CZ Shadow which pretty much sat on the safe during the gunban season and has around 150-200 rounds on it. Now I'm asking for a 10k additional excluding transfer fees, is this fair enough or Lugi ako?

    I'm unsure of the current market price of the two pistols now since I've been busy with DHing/Biking lately.

    Thanks!

    I suggest you walk away. That's too much. Keep your CZ.

    Is it a West Germany made Sig? I would go for it if it is.

    If both guns were brand new, mas mahal yung SIG.

    Which one do you shoot better?

    Keep the Shadow. Early Sig 226 are known to have hairline cracks on the frame if shot with too much +Ps. Since you don't know the exact history of the 226 being offered, that's pretty much a no-go deal for most. The newer 226 have much beefier frames, though.

    @presidingglock
    I think its already an american SIG

    @bikethief
    How much do 226s retail for nowadays? I honestly suck with the shadow, grew up using 1911s :(

    @Dragoneye
    I'll be sticking with the shadow indeed since I've overheard from some buddies that the guy got that SIG 2nd hand.

    Yep, there were reported cracks in the earlier model, but these were already corrected in year 1984 if I am not mistaken. You can check the date code, which is engraved on the unit itself to determine its manufacturing date.

    LnL is selling the CZ Shadow for P75K.

  11. This SIG 226 was going for P42k during the last gun show at the Shooters booth, but as you can see, it doesn't look new...

    Just practice with the Shadow often. You'll get the hang of it. That's what I also felt when I got my CZ75B SA. The longer I used it, the better I got with it.
