I am making a short trip to KY next monday. Is there any laws or other things I need to know to carry on my Indiana permit.

Not much. CCW laws in KY are pretty similar to Indiana, I think. (Before anyone asks, I'm NOT a tarheel nosing into KY business...I've spent most of my life in Kentucky and only 8 months in NC....)

    Try here for complete info...

    • Eat where you want, just don't sit at the bar.
    • If stopped by LE, you have no requirement to notify if you're carrying.
    • Carry to church if you wish.
    • If you can hide it under a long trench coat, it's legal in KY.
    • Unless the building is on the off-limits list, "No Guns" signs do not carry force-of-law. If you're discovered, all the proprietor can do is ask you to leave. If you refuse, LE can charge you with misdemeanor trespassing.

Since KY is so CCW friendly, why oh why did I move to NC??

Have fun! Where are you headed in KY?

THANKS guys! The wife and I are going to Petersburg to the creation museum. Funny part is that we will take I-74 almost to Cincinnati and then take Indiana-1 down to I-275 just so we can avoid Ohio. Once again thanks for the info.

Well, just returned and had a good time iat the museum. No problems carrying (probably nobody even saw it). Did have one small glitch as they had the West bound ramp to I-275 closed so I had to store my Glock in the trunk while I breifly went through Ohio. Thanks for all the info and if you ever make it to Indy give me a shout.
