Heat stippling epoxy?

I have been doing grip reductions and custom stippling on glocks. My problem is I can't heat stipple the epoxy that shows through after I reduce the grip. I end up applying Plasticoat to these areas in layers and stippling that, but of course it doesn't match very well. Has anyone been able to find an epoxy you can stipple or figure out a product that can be applied to the epoxy area you can stipple or texture that matches the stock plastic?

We do not do any heat stippling with our grip work. That said, I am unaware of any epoxy or similar material that will set up hard and yet be able to take a heat stippling like plastic.

Brownell's has this. I couldn't find it just now, but there was a tutorial there that suggests:
    Stock# / Description
081-014-004 4 OZ. ACRAGLAS GEL KIT takes texture better
081-003-002 2-GUN ACRAGLAS KIT matches color better
I researched the process a while back, but now have become accustomed to the factory grip.
