For those who order higher end 1911s
which online dealer do you use/recommend?
Dave (DRC) here on the forum
Sporting Arms and John at Proload are both great to deal with. On reputation alone I wouldn't hesitate to order from either of Paul's suggestions.
I also recommend drc, he is great to deal with.
Another vote for Crazy John, at Proload. Although, I think he's calling his gun business 1911Heaven, now.
Another vote for George at gunslingers. He's good for NH, Wilson, and Brown. He can also order Springfield Custom's too...not sure who else though.
I've bought from him twice, most likely will again.
While George can get Baers, he doesn't have the best price. John at Proload is suppose to be the best, even though my FFL was $100 less
I have done business with both and it has been first rate!
Thanks for the info....
Yeah, Dave is a great guy to work with.
I'll also recommend John at 1911 Heaven (formerly ProLoad) for Les Baers. He has a huge inventory of Baers, and can custom order if you prefer that route.
He is also VERY good at helping resolve any warranty issues that may arise, in the unlikely event that becomes necessary.
Do I have to pay birddog fees to all you guys?.... Thanks for the good words...
I'm sure we can work something out.
I'm a satisfied Dave customer as well. He'll get my high end business from now on.
I've also ordered a Baer from John at Proload and had a very good experience.
I ordered my Nighthawk from Landry Weston straight from Nighthawk, You will get a better price from Dave I
George at gunslinger wilson
Jerry Hammond Ed brown
Want to order from Dave possible next gun ( gun crafter nighthawk?)will have to see
I was a customer of John's when he had a store in Idaho. He's a genuinely good guy, and his prices are always fantastic.
