I dropped these off with Chris at Metaloy awhile back to have a few things done. Was going to go with gold bead front sights, but went with Novak white dots instead. Both have all black rears. Had Harrison Extreme short solid triggers installed as well as having the barrels flush crowned. Can't wait to pick them up.

Very cool....Is that done for aesthetics and/or to protect the end of the barrel? Accuracy? Trying to educate myself, never seen that done on a gun before.

It's done for aesthetics and it provides some protection to the barrel crown. There can be some slight accuracy improvment as well, based on the original crown's quality. I just like the look myself. All my 1911's get their barrels flush crowned.

I VERY much prefer the sharp/narrow serration on both of those. Very cool.

Nice. You must have a great collection of 1911s' with custom work. Wish Springfield would make the TRP Champion again, but they are likely selling every 1911 they can make now and don't have the time.

Looks great! I really like the short triggers for both looks and functionality.
