I posted an article with a video of an H&K rep showing off the HK45CT and some SHOT Show range photos:

The pistol is a little expensive, but shoots like a dream.

Like that rear sight. About time.

I don’t see the “replaceable grip panels”. Looks like the standard HK45C grip.
What is the difference other than the threaded barrel, rear sight and tritium?

    I think that's it.
I went with the regular HK45c myself, but I'll probably invest in tritium.... definitely invest in the TB.

    Novocaine,

H&K called them "replaceable grip panels." It is the adjustable palm swell at the back of the grip.

    SGT,

    Tritium is the good stuff!

There is nothing I would change on my HK45C. I like it just the way it is....

They look and feel like a Highpoint to me. I tryed the HK45c and did not like it or the controls. Not to take the light away from the Highpoint they are reliable.

And just in case you missed it earlier, there was ignorance on parade, ladies and gentlemen. By "the controls" I take it that you mean the safety lever? The mag release is the best in the business and the slide release is pretty typical. The safety too, is pretty much standard.

We do agree on something; you should stick to Hi Points.

The controls are akward, mag release, hammer drop and yes the HK45C looks like a Highpoint clone . I prefer the 1911 and SIGSauer 220 45acp both are light years better than the HK45c High point clone.

You would think Hk would design something better. The History of HK pistols from the early ones till now are lacking in design. I have shot the USP and HK45c,MK 23 many times and they still feel and look like Highpoints. Hands down .
