Anyone still going to the shows? I've about given up on them due to high prices on ordinary stuff I can get anywhere every day for better prices.

    Just ain't worth it anymore.

    I haven't been to one in a while---and didn't make this one.

I agree: high prices, little ammo for sale, too many books, camo clothing, knives, coins, jewelry, and other junk is killing gun shows.

And it seems like there are never any more private sales---only dealers.

Still, it's a fun place to kill an afternoon if you have nothing better to do.

The shows in Jackson are almost always crowded.

But the folks behind the tables always complain that folks are looking but not buying.

Lost in thought... sucked. And it was $8 to get in the door! When will I learn?!?

I used to go to get reloading supplies. Now it is much easier, and less expensive, to just order online.

I do agree though, that it is fun to go once in a while to look for that "bargain".

i always go, when i'm in town... however, recently the shows have been abysmal. I heard there was a ND at the last show... that's not fun. I was there one time and the dude next to me had a ND. Luckily it didn't harm anyone.
