and I can't wait to get to the range. By the time I bought it last night, the ladies were getting on the range and I couldn't try it out. Put a red dot scope I had laying around on it and it looks and feel good.

I will post some pics as soon as I find my cable for my camera. I am pumped!!

I think you will enjoy it.

I was looking at mine last night. I haven't shot it in a couple weeks. Maybe today or tomorrow.:)

Right now I'm using a cheap red dot that I had. I saw some Laser lights that I will check in to.

I mostly use cheap BSA Red Dots on everything from 22 pistols, to AR's, to shotguns. I must have 25, or more, of the things. Just ordered 5 more.

I also picked one up yesterday. I was looking at the black one the dealer had, and he said he had a green one for $20 cheaper. I went ahead and opted to save the $20, especially since the green model included the rail system. The only thing that surprised me was that the thing doesn't come with iron sights at all.

these are 395.00-420.00 on gunbroker all day long... A local shop here wants 550.00 for theirs... :whistling:

for 22's, I've had good luck w/the cheap BSA's from wal-mart and they run 30.00 or so.

Well, it actually appears to be par from what I have seen. The black model was $459, the green one was $439. Although it doesn't make sense that the green one is cheaper since it comes with the rail, it appears to be that way all over.

    Shall I get one?

And also I read recently that the Sig 556 is more of a tacticool'ed **AK**, not an AR... is this true? And ergo is the Sig 522 a tacticoolest 22 AK, not 22 AR?

Alphabet soup son! Thanks for the hizzelp

I was at the range this past sat and some guy and son had the sig 522 and I had to take a look at it! I instantly fell in love. My friend keeps trying to take my glock 19 off my hands and I been debating trading for it. Since my glock will always be in the family and i'll have my 22.

I've had the Sig522 SWAT for a couple months. Great rifle. Reliable and accurate. A bit heavy. Here it is with a Primary Arms 4x and Kryptonyte green laser.
