For what it's worth, the 150 Corbon SP has the worst accuracy of any load I've tried in my CZ 527 bolt action 7.62x39. We're talking 4" at 100 yards bad.

Best ammo is Monarch FMJ and Federal SP which both average about 1.5".

All I have on that note is, wow.

    Saved me $42.

That is quite the amazing contrast to what Mr. Wayne Sula of Temple, TX
    Wrote as a review:

Date posted: 10/13/2009While I have not yet hunted with this ammo I can testify to it's accuracy. I have a CZ 527 carbine topped with a Burris fixed 6x. After sighting in at 50 yards I moved to 100 yards. Without making any adj. for drop the first 5 round group was 1.1 inches, the first 3 of these were sub-moa. Subsequent groups yielded similar results. Because I thought this round not to be particularly accurate I was totally amazed. Can't comment on terminal performance, but this stuff is tops.

Ok, has the rifling twist rate changed on the 527 7.62x39 in the past few years?

No disrespect intended here but I wouldn't stop an evaluation based on one other person's bad experience with
the ammo in question. Most any review I have read up to now has been really positive about it.

I REALLY wanted the Corbon load to work for me because of the ballistic advantage over other loads. The difference really is significant. While it didn't work in MY rifle, it just might be the ticket in yours. There's only one way to find out and that's to try.

I have no idea if there were twist differences in the CZ 527. The Wolf 154 SP were much more accurate than the Corbons so maybe it's just one of those bad rifle/load combos.

I have not had a chance to get a decent range trip. I am pushing for this week since I got a better scope mount I been waiting for. The day I did the water jugs video was windy and overcast dark.
