A lot of people down the 4 digit S&W semi autos.

I have a 4506. It was my first duty sidearm. I love it. I know, its heavy and has a double action trigger. I FINALLY figured out how to shoot a double action pistol.

    I am a happy S&W owner.

Its a wreck I bought at a gunshow a few years ago. Seemed like a good way to test a gunsmiffs skills with little risk.

Its got the giant adjustable rear sight and hooked trigger guard. Curved backstrap.
<--prefers the curved grip to the straight one
<---aint gots no cameras what works
<---might could maybe borry a camera
    <---likes gun pics too

Gunsmiff drilled out the old worn out dots on the sights and put in fiber optics. Reblacked the slide. He wanted to polish the frame, but I declined. He did a total rebuild and action job, minus rebarrelling. There is some magic piece in the trigger group that gives that S&W TDA feel witht he loooooooooong pull. Not anymore  Makes ya wonder why S&W didnt ship em that way!:wavey:
