Hey all, I'm in the market for my first handgun and I'm going Glock. What's the best place to get a deal in the Norfolk area? Should I wait until the gun show at the Scope in Sept? Thanks in advance for the advice

It might be a little bit of a drive for you, but I have had great luck with Straight Shooters in Petersburg, VA. If you are up that way stop in and see Lane. I own 3 guns now (G30, Colt Gold Cup, and Mossy 500) and I've bought them all from him.

He has an indoor range at the shop and several guns to rent so you can try before you buy.

The usual dealers that come to the Richmond show (same as Norfolk?) usually have the 9/.40/.357 Glocks priced between $470 and $500. The .45's, 10's, and long slides are higher. I would consider anything around $500 a decent deal, especially if I found what I wanted and didn't to wait on the show to come to town.
