A local police supply store is selling cases of Winchester white box for $199 for 1,000 rounds (10 cases) of 9mm and $239.00 for 1,000 of .40

Seems to be a pretty good price?

I just bought some white box .40 at Walmart today. 100 rounds for 31.97.

9mm was 23.97 per 100. I passed on those because I can get PMC for 9.99 a box of 50.

Thats a good price, what is the name of the place so more people can get those deals. WWB is $23.99 a box for 9mm and $31 for 40 S&W around here.

Thanks... I guess that is a good deal then. I live in NJ where Walmart doesn't sell ammo so I wasn't sure it that really was the good price that I thought it was. The store has a few locations in NJ and Philly, so unless you live in the area you'll out of luck... Atlantic Tactical is the name

can you buy that much ammo on NJ with your NJ pistol & ammo purchase card or are you limited to 'X' number of rounds per purchase?

good to know. didnt know if after marking down 1000 rounds in the ledger, then ATF would pay you a visit and ask questions. my dad had a fear of that so he bought in small quantities at different dealers in NJ when he needed ammo.

Hey RutgersGrad. I'm also a Jersey boy and Rutgers grad. That's a fantastic price on .40 ammo. $12 for a box of 50 is as low as I've ever seen for virgin brass factory ammo.

See you at Jackson in a few weeks?

Here it is almost Thanksgiving and I paid $23.97/100 rounds (9mm) of WWB at Wally World this morning.

It's amazing how fast we get used to being bent over and violated. Don't get me wrong, in todays market that is a great price. It's just that I'm pretty sure I still have 100rd boxes of WWB from about 6 or 7 years ago priced at $6 a box roughly. One of the few smart decisions I ever made was stockpiling when you could buy a 1000rds of ammo for $70 or less.

No kidding. However to be fair, what was the price of gold when you bought that ammo? $400 an ounce? Ammo is precious metal in its own way.

    Just another ball of mud.
Look around for deals on S&B, good hot ammo with a better rep than WWB.

Where are you getting the PMC? I prefer that over Winchester.

    Thanks,
    John
