Anyone her have a good pair of compact binoculars that are water and fog proof?

Something under $100.00 would be great. They don't need to be top of the line just fogproof since the pair I have really are getting to be a pain.

  2. I have a pair of entry level Premier Nikon 8x that I bought that cost around 100.00 and some change on clearance. Getting a good pair that's waterproof might be a stretch.

To be honest I love the binoculars but wish I saved the money and saved uo for a better version. 8x power is okay but I could use something else better. One positive thing on the Premier it draws alot of light into the pupils so looking in dark and shadows gives alot of insight & view.

Just got a deal on CDNN

    Simmons 10x25 masterguide waterproof/compact.

They are on sale $39.00.And come with a free pair of 8x25 binoculars. Not sure what to do with them.

I'll be happy if they don't fog up.The winter hunting is tuff on the lens. Fog can cloud the most clear lens binoculars if they are not fog proof.

I don't know but for just under $200 you can get some great binos that are FAR superior to anything you'll find in the $100 range. Check out the Nikon and the Leupold porro prism 10x50s for about $180. Very good glass.

Back in the late 60's I needed to relpace a 7x21 pair of Nikon glasses. I was strolling through K-Mart one day and found an 8 by something pair for $19.95. They are just as good as the Nikon.

There are two places to check for "quality" binoculars:
    E-Bay.
    Wal-Mart.
