The 50 round boxes you see available are usually law enforcement overstock which are then made available to the general public. The is no difference in the ammunition. Order the 50 round boxes if you can and save yourself some money.

.60 per round versus $1.05 round :eyebrow:

    The sample boxes are costly.

Yes, never EVER buy 20 round boxes if you can get 50 rounders. Don't perpetuate the highway robbery!

But, if I bought the 20, I could brag about my awesome ammo, since it cost about twice as much, right?

Thanks for the link!! I just got a gen 4 g26 and need some SD ammo. Any suggestions on which grain I should get though? I have never owned a gun before and am still learning the ropes. Thanks for the advice!

I'm no expert, but I was planning on going with the 124, maybe +p. It seems like a good compromise of light for penetration and heavy for more energy. I too, just bought a gen 4 26. Sweet gun.

Everyone, please, if I'm wrong, respectfully disagree and give me logical responses as I'm new at this too and would like to learn.

Check out SGammo.com. Their pricing is even better at $25.95 for the same box of ammunition mentioned in the first post. As for which bullet weight, I prefer the 147gr standard pressure variety but you really can't go wrong with the 124gr +P either.

    And Welcome to GT :wavey:

Thanks Larson, I think that's where G21MAN was getting his price from, as it is the same as their 20+ price. I only need a few boxes, though. I'll probably order a few from them.

I shot mine as soon as I bought it, since the store is also a range. I know people complain about the gen 4s, but mine was good. The only problem with the 26, is it runs out of ammo too quick, lol. Darn 10 rounders. I've got a 17 and 19 mag on the way though. Along with a +2 base plate for one of the stock mags.
