Gold Dot .357 Magnum 125gr - 1189 fps?? Huh?

    I'm looking at the Gold Dot data poster. It shows .357 Magnum 125gr doing 1189 fps. The 158gr round shows 1191 fps. I don't get it. I realize Gold Dots may not be loaded really hot but < 1200 fps? A 9mm 124gr +P is faster.

    I'm trying to get to the atk web site but it's down right now.

    Not sure where you got those numbers from but my 2010 Speer catalog shows the following:

    Short Barrel Personal Protection 125GDHP: MV 990fps
    Standard Personal Protection 125GDHP: MV 1450fps
    Standard Personal Protection 158GDHP: MV 1235fps
    Handgun Hunting 170DCSP: MV 1180fps
