Gold Dot 124gr vs 147gr

    Locally, I can get 124 grain or 147 grain 9mm Gold Dot for about the same price.

    What is your preference? In a SD/HD situation would the performance of either be acceptable?

    For a small woman shooter, would either have more or less recoil?

    The 124 grain +P Gold Dot seems to be more dynamic, and has a stellar track record. It would be my personal choice. However, recoil is slightly greater, but I know several petite females who carry 124 +P or Winchester 127 grain +P+, and have no issues controlling it.

    Best bet is to let her try some of each, and then decide.
