Gold Dot 124GR. +P GDHP "Short Barrel" OK in G19?
I just purchased these rounds today and realized they were "short barrel" and are supposedly optimal for 2 inch barrels. My G19barrel is 4 inches. Are these rounds OK to shoot in my 19 and still a reliable self defense round in my 19?

    Thanks

The test barrel used for Speer Short Barrel 9mm is 3.5". I doubt that using it in a 4" barrel will be a problem. The shortest barrel 9mm on the market today of which I am aware is 2.9". Most really small 9mms have 3" barrels.

    Thanks ChicagoZman.

Any risk of damaging my gun using these under normal circumstances at all?

My 19 is brand new so I wouldn't want to risk it if there was a chance.

    Thanks

You G 19 will easily handle any factory 9mm, including +P and +P+ without issue.
