God bless South Dakota

  1. Legislators in the land of the Ring-necked pheasant and the Black Hills spruce, and where a greater proportion of folks still believe in God and still support our Constitution, this week approved a law aimed at preventing creeping sharia (Islamic law) from invading our judicial system. It is expected that Gov. Daugaard, R, will sign it into law in the next 2 weeks.

Leftist moonbats have challenged similar laws in other states, claiming existing laws suffice. Granted, our existing laws SHOULD suffice, but then we get crackpot judges like that one in Pennsylvania who ruled in effect for sharia in the Zombie Mohammed case. In Oklahoma, the people overwhelmingly passed a ballot initiative against sharia, but a Clinton-appointed federal judge struck it down, the wording being the excuse. So the South Dakota legislators are barring enforcement of "religious code" by US courts, to try to head off the dhimmis who support sharia law. SD's state motto is, "Under God, the people rule". I like that. "God", not "Allah" -crucial difference, the difference between life and death.

This bill was motivated by a growing demographic concern in Sioux Falls, where there is an influx of Muslim immigrants. I saw a youtube video awhile ago, of Muslims in Sioux Falls demonstrating in the street, calling for the death of Israel.

There are about 20 states trying to pass similar legislation. God grant that this number increases to 50, and that we stop all Muslim immigration before we lose our heads over political correctness. We follow political correctness like an Old Testament idol. As the Prophet Hosea said, "Come and let us return unto the Lord: For he hath torn, and he will heal us" (Hosea 6:1), meaning, God lets enemies such as Assyria in Hosea's day, or Muslims in our day, plague us on account of our turning away from Him. Salvation begins with repentance.
