I have a G26 and G27 with Austrian proof marks.
I have a Glock 17 with Austrian marks on it and "AUSTRIA" on the left side. Do marks like NPV (with a little eagle-lookin bird) indicate where it was made? I saw on Glock's site that factories are located at Deutsch Wagram in Niederoesterreich and Ferlach down in Kaernten. You guys know how to tell where one of these pistols may have been made?
I am pretty new to the forum and while looking for some info on another topic I came across this one...got some pics of my gen G19 with the Austrian proofs.
Are they worth more and I'm guessing they are only gen 1?
No, Gen1,2,3 & 4.
Latin America is full of Glock's with Austrian proof marks.
They import straight from Austria and they get the proof marks in all models even the .380 models.
I have G26, G19, G17, G27, G21 all with the marks in different gens.
Here is my G26.
