  1. Here are some Glocks to add to the thread:
-G35 MTPxxx, date on the spent cartridge envelope is 2/04/09, I bought this new on 2/26/10, it was a Blue Label with 3 mags and standard sights.

-G22 RTF2 PDMxxx, date on the spent cartridge envelope is 4/22/10, I bought this new on 5/01/10, it was a Blue Label Law discount package with 3 mags and Trijicon night sights, I ordered this from Glock (Glock said it was manufactured in Dec 09), This has straight slide serations.

-G23 RTF2 PETxxx, date on the spent cartridge envelope is 4/29/10, I bought this new on 5/06/10, it was a Blue Label Law discount package with 3 mags and Trijicon night sights, I ordered this from Glock, This has the "Fish Gill" slide serations.

-G19 third gen NANxxx, date on the spent cartridge envelope is 4/29/09, I bought this new on 6/21/09, it was a Red Label package with 3 mags and Trijicon night sights.

Dandapani was just unable to take care of the thread anymore due to time constraints in his life. He contacted me and asked me if I would take the thread. He is still around GT, though and was a huge help in transferring this thread to me.

Hmm. . . usually, GNS stands for "Glock Night Sights".

Not all of the guns with the same prefix will have the same options. The listed prefix is just one example of a gun with that prefix. It just helps give an idea of what Glock was doing at the point in time that the prefix was issued.

There are several instances where Glock used the same prefix for more than one model.

  14. ok yeah even the box says fixed sights on the label. i was worried someone messed with the sights before i bought it. thanks for the info

  15. I have an addition to add to the messy mix of serial numbers:

Glock 35 40 cal. FXD 5lb., with serial #FMF860 - shot at factory on 05/20/2003 - law enforcement sales.
