I have a Glock 23 from 1990 that has the following serial number RN9XX but at the end of the number it has the designation US. What does this stand for? My G27 does not have it.

Glocks in the beginning had US or "shipped and sold in the US" in the serial # US of course means United States. They do not us US in the serial number anymore.

MM5xx G-19 I do not find any Glock MM alpha prefix in the serial number data base. Can anyone shed light on this?
