In the last couple months I've bought 3 new Gen 4 G-23's and one new Gen 4 G27 for $525 + tax. My dealer is now quoting me $539 for another G27.

Overall Glock price increase or supply/demand issue?

Glock being so far behind in production may be part of it, I'm not too sure there. However, I think your "supply and demand" is right. Remember, it's an election year.

I've seen a lot of places selling Gen4's for $539 now.

No price increase, just basic economics==Supply and Demand.

With demand and production the way it is with Glock right now, be prepared for prices to spike!

My LGS is actually selling Gen 3 G30's for $650 new. A Gen 3 G17 and 3 mags will run you $720 with DROS fees. It's ridiculous.

It comes with a bonus though, the shop owner will pat you on the back and tell you that you got a great deal. :whistling: You also get inside information, he will swear to you that the Glock 1911 will be here within 6 months. He "knows" because he got an email from Glock.

I purchased my 26 Gen 3 there for $480 after two weeks of painful haggling.

This is another reason to join GSSF, the crazy CA pricing on guns :steamed:

I pay $425 for a new Gen 4 plus tax and if I ever move back to CA then I will still get the $425 price plus tax and $35 DROS, still much better than that obscene price.

Agreed. I do plan to join when I have a little more cash on hand. Though to be honest, when I have cash in hand, I'm using it to go back to Oregon. I miss being free.

The stupid tax on out of state guns has helped more places keep their high prices. A Gen 4 for $525 plus $25 shipping, $50 tax plus about transfer fee transfer fee can be $25 to $50 = $625 to $650. Id still pay that over $650 plus tax of about $62 = $712.

Also you'd be surprised how many people dont know how to buy out of state or shop around. Cabela's is many people's LGS and its nice to feel/touch the gun your buying. I bet they would move much more volume in guns and total sales if they were more competitive in pricing but they would make less per gun.

I paid over 600 for my G26 and wish i'd bought another. But - i bought a CT laser to seal the deal. This chingadera (****ing thing in Mexican vernaculer) works great.

I would sell it, for the berreta 92 i wanted to start with, but i would not get a fraction what i paid. Come on y'all know the story. There is no use selling a gun. At least not in the PRK.

My LEO Police Supply store here in Indy quoted me $543 OTD for a Blue Lable G-30 SF with Trijicon N/S.

Glock is crazy if they don't take this opportunity to put through a price increase.

ANY Glock in his shop is $765.00 + fees.
(At least he hasn't gone up in price, in the last 5 years!) :)
