So my new G19 is on track to quickly become my most fired pistol and it got me thinking about what parts typically wear out first and when should I expect that to happen, so I thought I'd post up and ask the collective what sort of parts failures you have seen and how long did it take to occur.

For the sake of simplicity, let's not count the Gen 3/4 ejector issues and other 'out of the box' type of issues. I'm talking about stuff that just wears out due to use.

My old first gen G17 had a broken guide rod and a worn out recoilspring when I got it.

    Still worked perfectly though.

Had a slide stop lever spring break on my g22. Caused the slide to lock open mid mag full. I keep spares now. Only failure in probably 30000 rounds in my 4 glocks.
