I was bored and it's been a while since I fondled any of my Glocks, so I decided to do something nice for my G19.

Let me know what you folks think!

Nifty. Does it look like it'll rub at all in that slot? Looking at mine, seems like the paint would need to be pretty thin to not rub off.

will that last? I have that on a few guns, but the area where the red paint is is indented so there is no friction. Also, some guns have a thin piece of metal in between the LCI with a different color. I think it will wear out after a few cycles on the glock after the friction starts to work in. Let us know how long it last. Nice idea though. I tend to use my finger to feel if the groove is present to symbolize loaded as opposed to practice looking down as it.............good for dark room encounters. We have always been trained to feel the groove and not look.

    You guys are cruel.

I think the nail polish looks great, but it can be better. Some nice matching ruby red lipstick around the muzzle would be so sexy. Just some eye shadow around the laser lenses and rouge on the slide and it will be a keeper.

it's a good idea, though I'll admit I'd never use it. I know what guns are chambered and which are not.

And um.... if I say I started at that picture for a good 30seconds trying to figure out what 6x6 on the barrel meant... nevermind I didn't do that.

    Looks cool, OP.

I usually train by feel, but I paint all my non-dot sights with flouro orange acrylic, so I got plenty around...may giver a try.

Looks good, and yeah....you might have too much time on your hands, if you.......

I would worry about the paint jamming up my extractor!

I always forget that Glocks have a LCI, because it is so hard to feel or see....so I do like your idea....but not with the ejection problems that many recent Glocks have experienced.

    Anyway, mine is always chambered!

Thanks for sharing! sorry to criticize...but it would be boring if we all posted "looks great" just to get our thread count up!

I see what you mean. I hate to admit my age, but our HS class rings had the same year upside down or right side up.
