Lol, As much as I vow to never buy a Gen 4, i`m still drawn EVERYDAY to Glocktalk and read about them. I still look at all the glock porn pictures and just say ahhh to myself. Its like a steel to magnet affair and I try to keep running far away. (But I can`t). Yep, Glock is just a piece of metal with their new Gen 4`s, Am I a sucker ? What is it with them that makes us want to fondle and hold them. I`ll never know, but I sure like the feeling. Lol

There's a simple cure: Buy one!

If you get a good one, you will be happy you have it. If you get a bad one, well, you were expecting it. Sell it and take the loss. Either way, you will be cured.

There's still plenty of generation 3 Glocks available.

It's funny that people think they can bypass gen4 problems with buying new gen3 guns, while the gen3 9mm's have the same problems.

I at one time had a gen3 G19. Eventually sold it as I found the finger bumps didn't really 'fit' my hand. Have a gen3 G26 but it fit my hand much better. Went on to buy S&W M&P afterwards. Well, I decided to 'try on' a gen4 G23. Fit my hand much better and I am in love with it. Give into the urge and give it a try. No better time than the present. Who knows what possible bans we may soon face.

I hated Glocks at one time in my life. I started carrying daily a Glock 23 and shooting on a regular basis and im in love with it.

Interesting. I am wondering if this could be the product of the grip with no backstrap or the bigger backstrap or just the difference between the surface treatment of the two or an actual difference between the finger bumps.

My #1 request for the Gen 5 would be to eliminate the front finger grooves. Oh, and fix THE EFFIN' EJECTION ISSUE!

LMAO. I had good luck the the gen3 19 so I'm getting the Gen4 32. If there is a issue with it I'll fix it. Magazine, extractor. No big deal. :wavey:

Yep, they must be complete junk, pure trash. Send them to me and I'll gladly dispose of them for you.

I think the early issue with the gen 4's have been resolved. The ejection issue is not just a 4th gen problem. Some newer 3rd gens are exhibiting the same behavior. While I personally will not own a gen 4, it is simply because it does not offer me anything over my 3rd gens. YMMV.

I hope that Glock really goes outside the box with the next generation design of the Glock. If not, I am not sure what my next new pistol will be, but it won't be a Glock. :crying: TXPO

This is part of what brought us the Gen 4's.

For years all I ever heard was Glock needs to update their website and bring out a gun with replaceable backstraps or they will be doomed.

In the meantime Glock was capturing majority of the MIL & LE market and making a good dent on the civilian side. With Gen 2 & 3 guns. To me it kinda falls under careful what you wish for. In the end Glock has no problem making anything you want for the right money...........:whistling:

Neither do I. I've put 1500 rounds through my new one since August. No problems.
:dunno: Alot of ejection issues can be resolved with proper pistol grip.
