Glock gunsmith in the Western suburbs?

I just bought a Glock 21SF that I've completely fallen in love with. I ordered a set of Meprolights from Glockmeister but I'm afraid of screwing up the front sight stake getting the old one off and the new one on. You wouldn't believe the bad luck I've had in the past month, and my beautiful new Glock is not going to be my next victim.

Anybody have a recommendation for a Glock gunsmith in the Western Burbs that they like? An archive search turned up Albert at D&J guns in Lakemoor, but that's kind of a hike from Batavia for what should be a 15 minute while-u-wait job.

    Thanks in advance!

You might want to try and see if there's a gunsmith at that Gander Mountain by you. I could have sworn there was one the last time I went there. Besides that, you could try The Gun Doctor in Roselle.

    Discobobby,

I've got a guy out your way (maybe) but I've got to look up his information.

I think he's near Geneva. He does really good work and I've used him several times in the past.

Let me know if you're still looking for a smith and if that's anywhere near where you're located.

How far are you from the QC?

If you still need any work done, drop me a line.
