I can't seem to find a definitive answer to this. What model Glock would have been the last model to come with a Generation 2 frame? What year did they switch from Gen 2 to Gen 3? Thanks for your help.

    Where the buffalo roam.
There were supposedly only a thousand or so each of the 2nd gen Model 31 and 32s made before the switchover to the 3rd gen frame, so that would be my best guess. There's a guy at the Denver Tanner Gunshow that for the last few months has had a nice 2nd gen 31 for sale. He wants way too much for it though ($475 IIRC). Tried to buy it but he won't come down more than a few bucks and it has 10 round mags. I can get a brand new 31 at the L.E. price of $399 three miles down the street. 1997 or 1998 was when the switchover to 3rd gen happened.
