Since recently attending the Armorer's course, I have read conflicting details on how many, at what price an Armorer can buy Glock pistols. I called Glock and talked with Cory Denny yesterday. I was told that Armorer's get the LE pricing, but Armorer's MUST order direct from Glock. I emailed him with a follow-up question last night.

I just received an email from Cory Denny at Glock:

"As an Armorer you can purchase 2 weapons a year."

    Straight from the horse's mouth!!

All info is located on the Glock IOP sheet.

2 per year at Armorer/LE price
1 per year at GSSF price

    Pretty good deal to me.

Thanks for the info, guys! Cory was the guy who helped me with my first armorer's order. Looking forward to getting two more blue label Glocks in addition to the GSSF G32 Gen4 I already ordered for 2012 :)

Sounds GREAT! I go in July to take the course. Do they ship directly to you or is it the usual FFL deal?

    FFL.

Fax or mail Armorer's certificate and order form that will be in the manuals you get when you take the course. And send FFL info. They quoted me 10-12 weeks, but I've heard from others that they got their pistols in about a month.

    I'm ordering a Gen4 G32:cool:

Curious how this works. Does the year go off your armorer class/GSSF membership date? Or off calendar year?

I forgot to ask Cory, do they charge you shipping?

I should take advantage of my Armorer's cert vs going to a local GSSF shop.....

I just sent in my lifetime GSSF membership and take the armorers course in two months. I did read that form. Which is what had me wondering if they meant calendar year as in J-D, or a year based off membership. I guess I should just stop being impatient and wait for my stuff to come in the mail.

Anyone know if you are in Metro ATL, if you can go pickup your order rather than have it shipped to an FFL?

You will pay shipping and your local rate of sales tax.

Would the shipped firearm have to be received by an FFL and pay the transfer fee?
