I will be away for about 14 months to work in a middle east country in a construction firm. I will dismantle my Glock 17 and dip all the parts in a 3-in-One multipurpose oil ( made by WD-40 ), which contains rust inhibitor, inside a small metal safety box. My question is, will my Glock 17 be okay if I dip it in a 3-in-One multipurpose oil ?

By the way, the place where I live now has extreme humidity, with temperature of 35 degrees Celcius, maximum. Many thanks.

I have no idea why this extreme measure would not protect your gun in practically any environment
