Are GL 22 high cap magazines useable in the GL 23 and 27? Are there know differences in the followers in these magazines that won't allow them to be interchanged.

What do yo mean by GL 22 high cap mag???

    I have a gen 3 G27.
    And mags for G27, G23, G22.
Plus three OEM Glock 40 22 round Big Sticks.

All have #9 followers and all work fine with the G27.
Recommend X-grip adapters with the G23/G22 mags.
If you pull on the extended part of the mag without an adapter
    you can experience FTF.

    You can use a G 22 magazine in a G 22, G 23 and G27,you can also use them in the G 24 and G 35 even the Kel Tec Sub 2000 in Glk 40 S&W.

The only Glock factory magazine I have ever had a problem with is the Gen 4 and supposedly they have updated those, they had the #. 9 follower.
I have a couple dozen G 22 magazines and have followers 5,6 and 8, never any problems with them.

Thread on problematic Gen 4's with #. 9, nubs and how to modify them to function, see post #.5 by Voyager.

  5. the only issues I ever encountered was with the older G23 followers I have and using my G32 barrel and 357 SiG ammunition...GLOCK has updated the followers and these followers work better with 357 SiG when doing that conversion...

I've used brand new G31 (the longer 357 SiG magazine with the newest followers) in my G23 wanna be G32 and they have been 100%...

my older G23 magazines (the one's that have LE/Gov't on them) work 100% with .40 S&W ammunition...
