Just purchased a Glock 38 and have replacement parts questions. It I want to change the sights, recoil rod, connector, and trigger spring do I order the same ones as the 19/23/32?

Also, is the stock recoil spring poundage good or do you guys run extra power recoil springs?

Lastly, does a +2 base plate only hold one extra round of GAP?

Thanks for helping the new guy.

You are correct. I've always used the stock recoil spring assembly in mine. The G38 is very, very manageable when shooting. Far more than a G23 or G32.

I prefer 200-gr for practice and carry.

I believe the +2 does indeed only hold one round for the GAPs. Just get G37 mags. Some people have been lucky and managed to get 9rds in their stock G38 mags.
