Does anyone know where I can purchase the .40 cal 17 round mags that fit the Glock 35 & 22?

  2. Cheaper Than Dirt has them listed, for about $30 each. I thought the 17 round Glocks were for the 17 and 34, 9mm?

Have you checked with the advertisers on GT?

Or are you looking to stay within the Commonwealth?

Might try Town Police Suppy in Richmond, they may have them or can order them.

I believe what they are referring to in the ad is a 15 round magazine with a Glock factory +2 base. I have never seen a Glock 22 magazine with a factory +2 base already installed offered for sale anywhere.

You can, however, simply purchase a Glock 22 15-round magazine and install a factory +2 base yourself. I believe you will find several vendors on this Forum who sell both products.

I would not recommend that you use this set-up in your pistol. Glock 22's were experiencing jamming problems about two years ago that were attributed to a frame redesign for the .45GAP guns. The fix was to add an extra coil to the magazine spring. Adding a +2 will negate the additional strength provided by the extra coil.

If you are going to ignore my advice and do this any way, please make sure you have a new 11 coil magazine spring installed in your magazine.

The 17 round magazine is a standard 15 round magazine with a #7151 factory extended base. I've never experienced any problems with them. The G22 problem mentioned was due to some tactical flashlights on the rail, cured bu the new magazine springs.

Glockmeister used to sell the mags with the bases attached. I get my 7151's from

If you live near Roanoke I'll be glad to install them for you.
