I would like some thoughts on the 24. Pro's and con's. I am considering buying one since I already have a G23.

any issues with the guide rod? It's considerably shorter than the slide. I'm no armorer but it seems it may bind the rod and spring when it comes out of battery.

that's all I needed to hear, if I do buy the 24 it will be a range/house gun. My local FFL has 3 of them, I really like the sight radius. The particular one I held had factory adj. sights and an extended slide release, is that standard on the 24?

From what I know they all come standard with adjustable sights and the extended slide release.and a 3.5lb connector although I put a ghost rocket in with very light springs.. the thing is a freakin tack driver... I shoot so well with it, its scary.

Its one of my favorite guns and I would NEVER sell it. Plus you can get conversion barrels from lone wolf to shoot 9mm and 357 sig if you want to go totally nuts.

I wasn't aware of the 3.5 lb connector. I am now convinced I need this gun! I just hope my FFL still has one by this weekend.

They are great. Only thing possibly better in the Glock line is the 17L, but they seem to be even less available than the 24. If the price is right, do it.

The price on the tag says $649 but I think I can get it a little cheaper (if they still have one). Any idea as to why Glock doesn't have the 24 on their website? I wasn't aware of its existence until a
    friend told me about it.

I was told that they aren't listed on the website because the G17L and, the G24 are "limited production" pistols. But, the G24 is an awesome range gun.

I have been saving my pennies for a while. My local FFL has a layaway, so if they still have one this weekend, it's mine.

Its a cool pistol for sure, though I'm not much of a 40 fan.

Hmmmm, holster options seemed to be limited but I suppose one for a G22 would work well enough for the range.:dunno:

If open bottom holster it will work. My crossbreed 9mm/40sw/357sig holster works for mine. Not really easy to concel the 24.
The 24 is my fav range gun. Love my 10mms but 40sw brass is alot easier to come across so it gets more range time due to that.

They are nice. Could not believe how good it shoots.
Since I have not found a 17L locally I bought the
LWD 40-9 barrel and it is awesome. .40 shoots great but 9mm is cheaper for the range. Trigger is super(for Glock).
    I don't shoot left with it.
I put talon grips on mine.

Hope one is left. Be sure to post a range report when you get it.

I hope they still have one too, I don't see many people shopping for one in my area (at least I hope not). I don't have children and my bills are paid up, so we'll see what happens this Saturday.
