I have a Glock 24 which I will use as my farm gun and not for personal defense. I want to go with a KKM barrel.

Question Should I get the 40 barrel or the 357sig barrel? Ammo cost/availability for me is not an issue. The gun will be used to take care of armadillos(hate em) raccoons, fox, bobcat, coyote and crippled deer.

I also want to replace the stock sights. I prefer a white dot front and plain rear sight. Do I need an adjustable rear sight with the 24? Any suggestions.

    thanks

With my G24 and a KKM barrel, the stock sights are POA/POI neutral at 25 yards and 180 grain ammo.

I would go with the .357 barrel. I have a .357, KKM, for my G35 and would like one for the G24. A .357 barrel, the length of a G24 slide, would probably add 150 to 200 fps to the .357 MV, I would guess.
Edit: I like adjustable sights, on all my pistols.
