When I'm on the range shooting, after a bit my trigger finger (tip) is being stung by each shot.....any input why this is happening? Thanks in advance.

My first question would be 'where on the trigger are you placing your finger'? Because of the trigger safety, the finger moves slightly as the trigger is pulled. Or it could be a burr on the safety. I was about to give you some bad advice (detail stripping the frame), so let me change it to contacting an armorer and letting him/her see if they can help fix your problem.

23 has a ridged trigger so it can meet the idiotic import scoring system.
You can put a trigger assembly from a 22. Not done this myself, but if you STF I'm sure you can get instructions.

on my 23 it was the trigger safety still stuck out a bit when fully depressed. it seems to be more of a problem on the triggers with the ridges that the smooth face triggers. i took mine down a bit with the dremel and it worked great. i did order a smooth trigger but haven't had the need to put it in now.

I'm wondering if its the lasermax spring causeing it. Maybe I will put my original guide rod back in.

look for a rough spot on the frame under the trigger.

No rough spots on the frame under the trigger.
