Dear Experts: What is your recommendation on the Polymer rod versus getting an aftermarket rod for improved performance? What will be achieved by replacing a rod that works well, already? Aside from the conversion of the G23 to a 9 mm or 357 Sig, are there other substitutions that can be made? Thanks, CDR Glock

The poly rod works great. The only draw back is it "could" wear and or break. I have seen hundreds break in the past but rarely ever in the last 10 years.
If you ever want to change spring weights the stainless can not be beat. Remove the tip, change the spring and your back in business. They will never wear or break.
If you currently own a G23 we can convert it to a 9mm or 357 with a simple barrel change.
If you like the look & feel of an extended slide we can do this http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Products.aspx?CAT=255

Yes you are correct, the G19 9mm mag is recommended for use with the LWD 23-9 conversion barrel.
