Glock 19 recoil spring question

I was looking at the Glock store website and noticed that they had several recoil springs for Glocks. The springs were of different weights.

What would changing the spring do for the performance of my G19 Gen2, or any Glock for that matter?

Changing the spring could result in a few things. If the spring in your gen2 is worn out, a new spring can tighten things back up (lighter felt recoil, and more positive cartridge feeding). If your spring isn't worn out, or your not experiencing cycling issues, I wouldn't worry about changing it.

Cool. I am thinking about doing some IDPA. I was wondering if a change in the recoil spring might be in my future. What with the amount of shooting I would do in IDPA matches.
